The Main Hall of the new Kennebunkport Conservation Trust headquarters consists of a 24’ x 36’ room with beamed cathedral ceiling, a floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace, lots of windows to enjoy the natural setting, a separate kitchen with pass-through, a large connected deck and two handicapped accessible bathrooms.

It beautifully furnished with a large conference table and a cluster of comfortable chairs in front of the fireplace.

The Trust’s All Purpose Room is approximately 1600 sq. ft., with tile floors, a handsome woodstove and with seating to accommodate up to 50 people. The space itself has a capacity of twice that number. Its two display cases, desks and handsome bookshelves holding a sizable collection of nature books add greatly to the character of the room. A handicapped accessible bathroom is also located on this ground level floor.

Now, by a vote of the Trust’s Board of Directors the building is available for rent, under certain conditions, with fees ranging from $250 for private functions to $1,500 for a wedding reception depending on the nature of the event and the number of participants. The maximum rental limit is 100 people.

The Trust is pleased to make its building and grounds available but it must always be recognized that the foremost obligation of the organization is to its conservation mission, its neighborhood, community, building and property. All income raised from rentals will be used to further the Trust’s conservation efforts.
